Two tips from the chef

Three friends eating together at a table in the garden of Landgoed Bijstervelt, under tall trees in the sun, with snacks, sandwiches and glasses on the table.

Since 1772

A special lunch in Brabant, on a historic estate

Landgoed Bijstervelt, which many guests still know as Kasteel Bijstervelt, was built in 1772 on the foundations of a medieval stronghold. The brasserie stands right next to Kapel Montfort, with the estate garden outside the window.

When the sun is out

Lunch on the terrace

In good weather you have lunch outside, under the parasols next to Kapel Montfort and among the historic trees of the park. Oirschot is a lovely place for a walk: around the estate, through the historic town centre or across the Oirschotse Heide heathland. Tip: park for free on the estate, take your walk first and sit down for lunch afterwards.
